Our disposable gloves are unsupported latex; vinyl and nitrile dipped gloves. These 5-mil gloves feel like a “second skin” while offering the wearer moderate protection from mild chemicals. Our polyethylene gloves are hot seamed flat. All are manufactured from materials to comply with FDA requirements for food contact. Features and Benefits · Disposable gloves are very cost effective. · Most disposables available in “medical grade” and lower end industrial grade. A “medical grade” glove offers greater resistance to permeation by liquids. · Disposables provide good protection against dirt and mild chemicals. · Recommended for short-term use. · Can be used on either hand (ambidextrous). · Can be dispensed economically throughout a plant. · Nitrile (synthetic latex) is the strongest and most chemically resistant single-use glove material. Common Applications · Vinyl, Latex, and Nitrile (synthetic latex) are used in the medical and dental fields. Our gloves are not sterile and are not intended for surgical applications. · All disposables are popular for food service, food processing, and food production applications. · They are used in sanitation, childcare, police work, etc. · Polyethylene gloves are used primarily in food service. · Latex and Nitrile gloves are used in EMS (Emergency Medical Service) applications. · Powder Free gloves are used when powder is causing user dermatitis, or in “cleaner” production facilities where powder residue should not be left on product. Available Features · All disposables are available in sizes S through XL. · Most Latex, Vinyl, and Nitrile gloves are packed 100 gloves per box, 10 boxes per case. Polyethylene is packed 100 gloves per dispenser, 100 dispensers per case. · Latex and Vinyl are available in industrial and medical grades. · Latex, Vinyl, and Nitrile are available lightly powdered and powder free. · Vinyl is available in standard clear or blue for food processing. · Non-Synthetic Examination Gloves are made from stretch vinyl with the look and feel of latex. Common Objections and Suggested Responses “Latex gloves make my hand break out.” Recommend a Powder Free Latex, as the natural proteins in Latex stick to the powder and can cause hand irritation. Switching to powder free often helps. Another alternative is to switch to Nitrile, Vinyl or Non-Latex Synthetic gloves. “ Bits of clear vinyl glove can fall off hand into product and is difficult to find.” Recommend a switch to Blue Vinyl. “I’m allergic to Latex, but need tight fitting glove and the dexterity that Latex provides.” Recommend Nitrile or Non-Latex Examination gloves. They are more expensive than natural latex, but are very close to latex in dexterity and fit. |
